This policy explains what Magnifier (“the app”) does with your information. Magnifier is developed by APP2GO (“we”, “us”).
The short version: the app has no accounts, no sign-in, and we do not collect or receive any personal data about you. Your photos and anything the app reads through the camera stay on your device. Some limited technical data is collected by Google to show ads, process subscriptions, and report crashes — that is described in full below.
The following never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or anyone else:
Magnifier uses three Google services. Each collects data directly, under Google’s own privacy policy — we do not receive this data ourselves.
Free users are shown ads. To serve and measure them, Google may collect:
Google may use this to personalize ads. You can limit this in your device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.

Subscribers do not see ads, and no ad requests are made once a subscription is active.
When the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, a report is sent so the problem can be fixed. A report contains:
Reports contain no photos, no recognized text, and nothing you have typed or read through the app.

If you subscribe, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We receive only confirmation that a valid subscription exists. We never see your name, payment card, or billing address.
Manage or cancel a subscription at any time through the Google Play Store app under Subscriptions.

The app does not request contacts, microphone, precise location, or access to files other than the photos it saves itself.
Magnifier is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on your behalf.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with comparable law (such as California), your rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection apply to the data handled by Google as described in section 2. Those requests should be directed to Google using the links above, or exercised through your device’s privacy settings.
To remove everything the app has placed on your device, uninstall it. Photos you have already saved to your gallery remain there, and can be deleted like any other photo.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the “Last updated” date above will change. Significant changes will be noted in the app’s store listing.
